There are few greater sights than that of the moon. Inspired by one of the most beautiful babies I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, baby Siena. I have so much gratitude for the little one's in my life who constantly remind me of life's greatest wonders. Stay curious.

This series was developed for those of you who are torn between a land based piece, or one that takes place in the sea. Growing up on the stunning Vancouver Island, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to be torn between land and water. The most important people in my life cherish the significance of both.

As adults we all know that life isn't always easy.  Children, however, should be free of those worries. As an operating room nurse, the courage in children never seizes to amaze me. I am always taken back by the stoic little beings I observe who are facing obstacles with more grace than one could ever imagine. I am incredibly proud to be affiliated with VIHA and the Victoria General Hospital as they recognize the significance of those children stuck behind the walls of a hospital. I was so honored when I was asked to do these pieces for the Paediatric Unit; they will always be one of most memorable projects.
